Deputy Liberal leader Stuart Ayres is pushing back against accusations over his involvement in the appointment of former NSW deputy premier John Barilaro to a lucrative trade envoy position in New York.
"The key point here is there has been no direction to Amy Brown about who she should employ," Ayres said.But he said that there would always be "discussion and engagement" about such high-profile decisions."I have not done anything wrong," he said.
