The cooking technique is said to save bill payers up to £720 per year
As the cost of living continues to soar, households are searching for ways to cut costs and keep up with bills. And, according to an expert findings, a cooking 'hack' could be able to save you up to £60 per month, £720 a year.
Half of those surveyed say they do this to save money on their shopping bill, while minimising food waste was also a consideration for four in 10 people. Planning meals ahead by batch cooking also helps some people to stick to a balanced diet, the survey indicates, with nearly a quarter of respondents feeling this way.
Shop with batch cooking in mind The economist says: "When making your shopping list, ensure you're buying with the view to batch cook. This will ensure you buy enough ingredients to make more than one meal and means you can stretch food out for longer.
