The initial victim, and another man who came to his aid, were rushed to hospital following the alleged attack.

Three crime scenes were established along Oxford St and forensically examined by NSW Police investigators.Credit:The CCTV footage appeared to show two of the armed men throwing something as they ran from the scene.“As inquiries continue, investigators have now released CCTV vision of three men who may be able to assist with their inquiries,” NSW Police said.
“The three men depicted are described as being of African appearance, about 170 to 180 cm tall, and of slim build. “The first man is shown wearing a dark hooded jumper, dark pants, and white shoes. The second is wearing a dark hooded jumper, dark pants, and black shoes. The third is wearing a dark hooded jumper, white shorts, and black shoes.”
