Departing Broncos head of football Ben Ikin.
"There are a lot of good people at the Broncos doing great work, and I know that ultimate success for the club is getting much closer." Ikin's first season ended with the Broncos in 14th spot and the club has risen towards the top of the table as he exits, and club CEO Dave Donaghy paid tribute to the outgoing football boss."The football program and playing roster needed an overhaul, and Ben very diligently worked with other key staff to knock both into shape, and our results this year reflect those efforts.Kevin Walters was forced to fend off suggestions that he and Ikin had fallen out just last week.
While the Broncos have risen up the ladder during Ikin's tenure, it hasn't always been smooth sailing at the club.
