Footy star suffers ‘life-changing injuries’ after falling through hotel roof
A 24-year-old Adelaide footballer has been left with “life-changing injuries” after an incident at a Port Lincoln pub.
The SANFL released a statement on Monday saying it was providing “ongoing assistance” to West Adelaide as a family member said he had been transferred from Port Lincoln to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.SANFL footballer Sam May has been transferred to Royal Adelaide Hospital after an incident at a Port Lincoln pub on Sunday morning.
“We are truly grateful for the incredible care our beautiful boy received in Port Lincoln being transferred to Adelaide and now in the RAH,” it read.“Sammy is the light of our lives and we absolutely love and adore him as does everyone who is lucky enough to meet him. As awful and as difficult it is, we just need to wait now.
