Laxmi Tummala, trustee with the Hindu temple, said members are disturbed, fearful and angry because the shooting happened at a“It hits so close to home,” Tummala said.
“This is for all the victims who were affected directly or indirectly, [and] their families” temple director Jayanth Ramani said during the memorial. “This is our way of supporting the community that we all live in, the Dallas-Fort Worth community. We are not just talking about our Indian community.”
