I was representing some buyers and was showing them a 10-acre parcel of land. It was about 1,100 feet off a dirt road. The clients were in my truck, a Ford Expedition. It was spring and the ground was frozen, but the frost starts doing what they call “coming out of the ground,” and that makes the top of the ground muddy. I had my truck in four-wheel drive, and while driving I hesitated just the slightest bit, and we sank into the mud.
