Gold Coast Titans veteran Kieran Foran believes former Wallaby Carter Gordon has the potential to become the club's next star playmaker.
Gold Coast Titans veteran Kieran Foran has stated that former Wallaby Carter Gordon has the potential to become a league player who could one day replace him as the club's primary playmaker. Gordon, who has experience directing attacks for the Wallabies, has impressed during preseason fitness testing and showcased promising signs as the squad's chief attacking strategist.
While Foran recovered from offseason ankle surgery, Gordon trained alongside Jayden Campbell in the halves, while AJ Brimson practiced at five-eighth, center, and fullback. Gordon previously excelled in four Queensland Cup games for Tweed Seagulls at five-eighth and center. Foran expressed confidence in Gordon's abilities, stating that he possesses all the necessary attributes for a successful rugby league career. He acknowledged Gordon's willingness to learn and adapt quickly, highlighting his intelligence and talent. Foran, however, remained uncertain about Gordon's early-season position due to the team's abundance of spine players. He also hinted at the possibility of playing an 18th season to ensure a smooth transition for Gordon
