An upcoming meeting of Quad leaders in Melbourne will focus on combatting China and Russia’s growing anti-democratic coercion, Foreign Minister Marise Payne has said.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Melbourne this week ahead of the fourth meeting of the Quad where climate change, cyber security, and growing coercion will be firmly on the agenda.

Try 1 month free now “ are again voting with their feet in terms with the priority they accord to issues… in relation to the Indo-Pacific,” Ms Payne added during a press conference on Wednesday.
Ms Payne said the agreement set out how the two authoritarian nations viewed the global order, but was “at odds” with Australia and its allies.
