Police tape is in place around the house this morning
The blaze broke out at a home on Parkhills Road at around 8.30pm on Monday evening. Firefighters were scrambled to the scene with the house taped off and the front windows left smashed.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the blaze is being treated as suspicious. In a public post last night, Coun Tariq said: "I’m saddened to report there has been yet again another unfortunate incident in our neighbourhood.
