For the second time in his career, defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson is cashing in as an NFL free agent.
Cleveland will have a new defensive coordinator in 2023 with veteran coach Jim Schwartz taking the position. The Browns finished 25th among the NFL’s 32 teams in rushing defense during the 2022 season.
In 13 games in 2022 with the Vikings, Tomlinson recorded 42 tackles, 2.5 sacks, three tackles for loss, 10 quarterback hits, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Last season was the first time in Tomlinson’s career that he missed any games.In 93 NFL games , Tomlinson has 288 tackles, 13 sacks, 26 tackles for loss, 37 quarterback hits, seven pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
