It was not known how long Aaron Shattock had been pinned under the excavator when he was found on his property on Sunday afternoon.
Former Brisbane Lions player Aaron Shattock was admitted to hospital in a critical condition on Sunday after he was pinned under an excavator on his Gold Coast property for an unknown period.
A Queensland Police spokesman said Shattock was working on the property when the digger rolled and trapped him underneath “for a while”. Shattock, a midfielder who made his AFL debut with the Brisbane Lions in 2000, was part of the team that won the 2002 grand final.
