Former British Prime Minister David Cameron on Sunday supported the explanation offered as to why Vice President Joe Biden pressured the president of Ukraine in 2015 to crack down on corruption.
Speaking on “Fareed Zakaria GPS” on CNN, Cameron said, “It's certainly true to say that the British view, I think in common with the American view, was that Ukraine needed to do more to tackle corruption.
Shokin left office in March 2016. Biden has aggressively denied the allegation that he did anything inappropriate.
