Former Australian cricket player Stuart MacGill has denied stalking and intimidating a Sydney bar owner, the sportsman instead arguing he is the victim. 9News

MacGill faced court on Thursday after being charged with stalking, intimidating and using offensive language towards Samantha Ford, his best mate's former fiance and the owner of Argyle Bar in Millers Point.

"He assisted in berating the woman ... he was leaning over ... he was aggressive towards her," Ryder told the court.MacGill is defending charges against him and his matter has been adjourned until January, when a magistrate will hear from more witnesses to the pub clash. "I am very intimidated by this woman because clearly she has some power that I don't have," MacGill says in the interview.Kerlin pleaded guilty to two offences and will be sentenced in August.
