Fernando Alonso aims cheeky dig at Yuki Tsunoda during overtake at Austrian Grand Prix AustrianGP
Finger wagging is the signal of the moment in Formula 1 and Fernando Alonso one-upped Ferrari boss Matteo Binotto at the Austrian Grand Prix.
Last week, the movement of Binotto’s index digit while talking to Charles Leclerc was the talk of the paddock.Alonso wagged his finger as he passed his Japanese rivalThe driver was disappointed after a fourth-place finish in the British Grand Prix in Silverstone. And in a post-race chat, Binotti wagged his finger at the moody Monagasque as he wanted his star man to ‘cheer up’.The Alpine star, who had a difficult weekend and started at the back of the grid, was attempting to overtake AlphaTauri star Yuki Tsunoda.wasn’t going to give up the place easily, though, but veered into dangerous territory, literally, with Alonso almost knocked off track.
But the Spaniard, with all of his experience, managed to get back up next to his rival and as he sped past him at the Red Bull Ring, found a moment to show his disdain for the actions Tsunoda took.
