Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus says the “very eminent” former High Court justice Virginia Bell will be leading the inquiry into former prime minister Scott Morrison’s secret ministerial portfolios.
“She will be able to get to the bottom of what occurred,” Mr Dreyfus said during a media conference on Friday.
He said Ms Bell will consult with everyone who “has something to say” about the matter and hear from members of the Australian community before making “concrete recommendations” to the government.
