Andre Wisdom is currently trialling at Salford City, owned by Manchester United legends David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Phil and Gary Neville.
Former Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom has made a surprise trialist appearance at Salford City. The 31-year-old came through the academy ranks at Liverpool and made a total of 22 appearances for the first team during a seven year stint at Anfield . However, he had loan spells during his time at the Merseyside club, including Derby County, Norwich City, West Brom and Red Bull Salzburg before he completing a £3million move to Derby in 2017.
'I tried to get back into football and it wasn't the same, I wasn't getting the same output in terms of power or speed.' Wisdom got headaches after being stabbed in the head and it also impacted his breathing after he was left with fluid on his lungs. In 2023, he signed for Warrington Town where he spent a season and helped them to a 12th place finish in the National League.
