After reports surfaced during the week that Michael Schumacher was seen at his daughter’s wedding ceremony in Mallorca, former manager Willi Weber has shared the shattering details of his sad fallout with the Formula One legend. Weber, a former ‘best friend’ of the Ferrari icon, told German news outlet Bild, that he was not invited to Gina’s wedding and he would not have attended the event if he was.
For a long time I blamed myself for not reacting immediately. “Since then, I’ve said goodbye to Michael in my heart in order to find my peace again.” Weber also spoke to German outlet the Cologne Express during the week. “When I think of Michael now, unfortunately, I don’t have any more hope that I will see him again,” he said. Schumacher’s exact condition is unknown, at the will of his wife Corinna, who has kept it meticulously private since the accident.
