One week after earning NFC Defensive Player of the Month honors, Nick Bosa earns NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his three-sack performance in Week 13.
With that performance, Bosa became the league leader in sacks for the 2022 season and put himself squarely in the running for NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors, though Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is still the betting favorite to win that award. Bosa also leads the league in quarterback hits and has led the way for a 49ers defense that is allowing fewer points and yards per game than any other defense in the NFL.
Bosa isn’t the only player with Ohio State ties to earn an NFL player of the week award in Week 13, as his friend and former OSU teammate Joe Burrow – who of course finished his college career at LSU – earned
