Kind-hearted former patients of a city hospital have held a fundraising drive to donate chairs to a cancer unit.
The Schiehallion Unit at the Royal Hospital for Children recently took delivery of five new high-back chairs for the treatment of daycare patients.
The pair have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds to help boost facilities at the unit and elsewhere in the hospital. “They’re just the latest in a long line of fantastic donations to the whole Schiehallion Unit, and I’d like to thank Molly and Sara, and their families and fellow fundraisers, for everything they’ve done.”
