Rugby dual-code international Wendell Sailor appeared in court on Thursday over alleged offenses including two counts of common assault, behaving offensively, refusing to leave a licensed premises, and stalking or intimidation. The charges stem from an incident on November 6 at Pappy's Bar in Sydney's city centre where Sailor was refused service due to his behavior.
His lawyer, Adam Houda, claimed one assault charge would be dropped, but prosecutors dismissed this, stating the officer in charge did not have the authority to withdraw the charge
