Ex-Splendora football player sentenced in classroom sex assault, stayed on team during investigation

Austin David-Allen Elliott, 19, of Splendora, was convicted and sentenced on two counts of sexual assault, a second-degree felony.A 19-year-old Montgomery County man and former Splendora High School football player was sentenced for the January 2020 sexual assault of a classmate on campus.

Elliott was a 17-year-old student at the high school when on Jan. 10, 2020 he sexually assaulted a female classmate as she slept during a free period, according to a Nov. 17 probable cause affidavit filed by a Splendora Independent School District Police sergeant.U.S. Army soldier charged with sexually assaulting 2 girls in Montgomery County

. The game would have been about eight months after the investigation into the on-campus sexual assault was initiated by police sergeant.
