NRL: Braydon Trindall is in line for a return to the Sharks side after being stood down for an off-field incident.

Playmaker Brandon Wakeham has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of drug supply charges after police picked the 25-year-old up at Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles training on Wednesday.Wakeham signed with Blacktown this season, a NSW Cup feeder club to the Manly Sea Eagles , and had been named in the halves for the team’s game against the Bulldogs this weekend.

New to Kayo?Wakeham played 15 games for the Tigers last season before making the move to Blacktown.It’s the second drug-related incident to rock the NRL within the last month, after Sharks half Braydon Trindall was charged for failing an alcohol and illicit drugs road-side test on April 22.

Trindall’s legal team have informed Cronulla that an adjournment is possible considering they are awaiting the results of a second drug sample.
