His lawyer, Dennis Miralis of Nyman Gibson Miralis, told the court that Duggan had been classified as an “extremely high-risk inmate”, but that there was no information as to how that classification had been made. The former pilot has also been denied access to medical treatment, including receiving vitamins for a medical condition, on three occasions while in remand, Miralis said.Trent Glover, appearing for the US, said Duggan’s case had followed the “usual extradition process for the United States”, in line with the bilateral extradition treaty.
