John McEntee reportedly hired less attractive male staffers so he'd have better odds with the women who worked under him at the White House, a new book claims.
A former Trump official reportedly only hired unattractive male staffers so that the women on the team would prefer him instead, according to a new book by ABC News Chief Washington Correspondent Jonathan Karl .Excerpts from Tired of Winning: Donald Trump and the End of the Grand Old Party published in Vanity Fair on Friday detailed the rise of Trump aide John McEntee, who was only 25 years old when he began volunteering for former President Donald Trump 's 2016 campaign.
After Kelly was dismissed, McEntee returned to the White House in 2020 and Trump named him the Director of the PPO, a position that oversees the vetting, hiring, and firing of 4,000 political appointees.'McEntee may have never hired or fired anybody before in his life, but he was fiercely loyal—and for Trump, that made him the perfect choice for the job,' Karl said.
