Someone in Fort Worth has fuller pockets after claiming a $1 million Powerball prize last month.
The lucky winner, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the ticket at a 7-Eleven on Altamesa Boulevard in Fort Worth, a Monday release from the Texas Lottery said. Their second-tier winning Quick Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn , but not the red Powerball number during the Nov. 21 drawing.on Nov. 8 after 40 consecutive drawings without a winner. A California resident won that grand prize.
The Powerball grand prizes restart at $20 million after one is drawn, according to the Texas Lottery, and the current jackpot is $89 million.
