Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has touted new measures from the federal government which came into play for millions of Aussies on Saturday, following the official ribbon cutting of the new home for the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

“It will take pressure off inflation and the government’s been determined to do that because we understand that people are under pressure with cost of living increases and we need to take that pressure off inflation. He said the government would also continue to examine how to take pressure off families amid the rising cost of living. "Allan Boarder is a great Australian," Mr Albanese told reporters on Saturday.

“He is a great Australian, he shows courage on the cricket field and now he’s shown courage in dealing with this diagnosis for a number of years in private, but now that it is public all Australians will be feeling for Allan Boarder and wishing him the best."
