Four people who tested positive to COVID-19 die in Western Australia, as hospital admissions jump to 147.

Four people who tested positive to COVID-19 in Western Australia have died, as the state recorded 5,838 new cases in the 24 hours to 8pm on Friday night.

WA Health has confirmed the deaths of three men, aged in their 40s, 60s and 90s, and a woman in her 60's.A total of 3,233 new cases came from self-reported rapid antigen tests, while 2,605 were detected by a PCR test.
