Fox Business Network President Lauren Petterson and the network's stars celebrated FBN's 15th anniversary by ringing the NASDAQ opening bell on Friday morning.

Fox Business Network President Lauren Petterson and the network's stars celebratedThe jubilant team rang the iconic bell at 9:30 am ET to kick off the market 15 years after FBN offered a bold new way to consume business news in America. Petterson was joined by Maria Bartiromo, Stuart Varney, Dagen McDowell, Charles Payne, Larry Kudlow, Liz Claman, Elizabeth MacDonald, Lisa"Kennedy" Montgonery, David Asman and Lauren Simonetti.

Varney appeared to do his version of the royal wave, while others clapped and waved as trading opened.The bell-ringing ceremony is designed to celebrate a company’s"achievements and milestones before a global audience," according to Nasdaq. Bartiromo appeared on FBN live from Nasdaq MarketSite before the ceremony to help kick off the celebration.

"We’re really looking back and looking ahead. We’ve had so many firsts here at Fox Business, remember we did two presidential debates, myself and Neil Cavuto. We’ve expanded our coverage, when people ask me about Fox Business, I always say that we have a broader mandate here at Fox Business than any other cable channel," Bartiromo said. "It’s not about the economy, it’s about your economy. It’s not about the stock market, it’s about your stock market.
