The relationship between the two former world champions broke down in 2017 when Frampton left McGuigan’s Cyclone Promotions after eight years
Former world boxing champion Carl Frampton has hit out at comments made by ex manager Barry McGuigan as ‘very, very egotistical’.

“Very, very egotistical. You’ve got to remember Barry McGuigan approached me to go professional, not the other way around,” the former two weight world champion said.
