Coppola, who wrote the script, shot the film in Atlanta and New York. The logline: The fate of Rome haunts a modern world unable to solve its own social problems in this epic story of political ambition, genius, and dangerous love. The budget is just under $100 million, and Coppola recently told Deadline the film is on schedule and on budget.
Applications for SAG-AFTRA interim agreements were made available on the first day of the actors strike July 14, and the guild immediately received “hundreds of applications … we will be responding to all of them,” SAG-AFTRA National Executive Director and chief negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland said at the time, noting that projects can’t have “any AMPTP fingerprints on them” if they hope to be granted an agreement.
