Frank Zumbo, the former chief of staff of ex-MP Craig Kelly, was convicted of indecently assaulting four staffers earlier this year.
A former political chief of staff has avoided jail time for his indecent assault of four women.Mr Zumbo must do 300 hours of community service for his actions and serve two years of prison in the community.
Magistrate Christofi told the court Zumbo was educated and influential and the impact on the four women was "deep and enduring". The court heard Zumbo would regularly drive another young staffer to and from work and heard that he regularly questioned her about her personal life and sexual experience. Magistrate Christofi told the court the woman said the incident "made her feel violated, angry and embarrassed".
