Star and producer Kelsey Grammer confirms that the Frasier revival will address the original show's Chicago series finale cliffhanger despite being set in Boston. The send-off to the Seattle-based sitcom leaves Frasier Crane's fate hanging in the balance after he decides to fly to Chicago at the last minute instead of his original destination of San Francisco, all in the name of love.
While Frasier's return to Boston will be his third outing as the character, Grammer clarifies that the narrative would actually be his fourth arc because of his unseen time in Chicago. While the revival won't really dwell on it, the Paramount+ reboot will reveal what happened to him during his time there:
