This is not the first time Freddie has been involved in a crash on the show
Freddie Flintoff’s son has said his dad is “lucky to be alive” following a “nasty crash” during Top Gear’s filming in Surrey.
The accident was confirmed by a BBC spokesperson yesterday, who said that the cricketer had been rushed to hospital for “further treatment." “All the usual health and safety measures were in place for filming too. Freddie was taken to hospital by air ambulance shortly afterwards,” the source explained.This isn’t the first time Freddie has been involved in a high-speed crash after losing control of a motorised trike, the Time Bandit, when racing at 124mph against co-hosts Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness in 2019.
