The L.A. crime drama, a favorite of San Antonio audiences, is one of more than 100 films that will be shown at the festival.

“We’ve been talking about this screening for three years, and trying to figure out when to do it, and we thought this year, with the 30th anniversary, became a now-or-never type of opportunity,” said Eugenio del Bosque Gómez, director of the festival. San Antonio actor Jesse Borrego, one of the stars of"Blood In Blood Out," will introduce a screening of the movie at CineFestival.The outdoor screening starts at 7 p.m. July 11 at Plaza Guadalupe, 1327 Guadalupe. The evening will be hosted by Jesse Borrego, the San Antonio actor who starred in the film and is artistic advisor to the festival. The evening will begin with remarks, and the movie will start around 8 p.m.
