Five men are facing charges after a fight broke out at a youth football game over the weekend.
It happened at Bethel-Tate Middle School on Sept. 30, following a game between the Bethel Tigers and the Northern Kentucky United Titans.While it isn't clear from the video what started the fight, two men can be seen having a heated confrontation before others intervene.D’Vontae Thomas, of Northern Kentucky
Peddersen is a coach for the Northern Kentucky team, while Fry is a coach for the Bethel team. Fry declined to comment.Police addressed the additional charge at Thursday's safety committee meeting. “Two others will be charged with obstruction of official business for ignoring the officers’ commands to leave, and blatantly just disregarding all of the things officers had to say," said Officer Donald Fourth.Sunday, the Clermont County Youth Football League announced that the NKY United Titans had been booted from the league.
Scott Donaldson, with the league, says the team was kicked out for a “multitude of reasons,” including the fight.
