Marco Acevedo, Bojangles’ market director for Texas, said in an interview Monday afternoon that the company is also looking at McKinney, Prosper and Denton for new locations, which will be a mix of company and franchise-owned stores. Acevedo also said Bojangles will open in the Houston, San Antonio and Austin metros in the near future.
The brand expansion into Texas may include up to 18 restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth, the company said last year. Bojangles operates mostly in the southeast U.S., including in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia. Part of Bojangles’ allure, since it opened in 1977, is its all-day breakfast, which includes the Bo-berry Biscuit, a blueberry infused biscuit topped with sweet icing.Anna Caplan.
