A young man who was fatally stabbed has been remembered as a loyal friend as his family in India grapple with the loss. Navjeet Singh Sandhu, 22, was stabbed to death on Sunday during an alleged fight at a home in Ormond in Melbourne ’s southeast. Another man, 30, was seriously injured and taken to hospital with stab wounds. According to Sandhu’s friend Gurmeet Singh, Sandhu had been called to the Ormond property to help a friend about 1am on Sunday.
