AFL: Sparks were flying between the Swans and the Pies, after a big hit from Tarni White, ignited two simultaneous brawls.
Collingwood’s Tarni White is set for a nervous wait after her brutal bump rocked the AFLW opener at North Sydney Oval on Friday night.
White had been knocked down midway through the third term in the loss to Sydney but waved away medical staff before taking off after Swan Maddy Collier. And when Collier got her kick away, White made contact in a hit Fox Footy’s Daniel Harford believes will land the Pie in hot water.“Choose to bump – head to head and Maddy Collier doesn’t come back on with a HIA,” he said.AFLW great Erin Phillips agreed White looked to be in trouble for the bump.Just seconds after White laid her bump, her teammate Muireann Atkinson knocked herself out in a nasty looking collision with Swans star Chloe Molloy - as spot fires broke out around the ground.
