Premier Gladys Berejiklian says the “full force of the law” will be thrown at those found to be looting NSW firegrounds.
Hundreds of police officers have been deployed to southern NSW to catch and prevent looters who are taking advantage of fire grounds.
This comes as a 38-year old man and a 31-year old woman were charged after items believed to be stolen from a fire damaged business in Bateman’s Bay were found during raids. “If you are doing wrong by our citizen’s at their worst time, we will find you and the full force of the law will be thrown at you”, Ms Berejiklian said.
