NRLW: The NRLW has announced their own standalone Magic Round to be held in Newcastle during the 2025 season.
The Sharks and Eels will kick off Magic Round in 2025 as 16 clubs converge on Suncorp Stadium for Round 9 and the sixth edition of the NRL’s showpiece event.The Roosters and Dolphins will complete the opening night at the rugby league festival when they clash in Friday’s 8pm AEDT game.Wayne Bennett will come up against his former club when the Rabbitohs face the Knights to kick things off on Saturday afternoon.
Then the Warriors will take on the Cowboys before the Wests Tigers and Dragons square off in prime time on Saturday night. The Titans and Bulldogs kick-off the Sunday action at 1:50pm which will see another premiership-winning coach taking on his former side in Des Hasler. A rematch of the 2023 grand final will see the Broncos host three-time reigning premiers Penrith at 4:05pm in front of what will be a sell-out crowd.
The Storm and Raiders will see out the extravaganza weekend in the final game on Sunday, while the Sea Eagles will have the bye.South Sydney Rabbitohs v Newcastle Knights at 3pmGold Coast Titans v Canterbury Bulldogs at 1:50pm
