A search is underway for a teenager missing in the waters off Freshwater Beach, on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Emergency services were call to the beach around 8.15pm on Saturday, after three friends went out for a swim and one of the group didn't return to shore. Police confirm a full-scale search operation is currently underway to locate the missing 18-year-old man. The multi-agency search operation involves officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command, the Marine Area Command, Surf Life Saving NSW, PolAir and the Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter.Continue reading
