The funeral for New South Wales firefighter Geoffrey Keaton, who was tragically killed in the line of duty, has been held in Western Sydney on Thursday.
Mr Keaton died while working on the Green Wattle Creek fireground on December 19 last year, when his truck was hit by a falling tree and rolled. He died alongside colleague Andrew O'Dwyer.
Geoffrey Keaton was posthumously awarded the Rural Fire Service Commissioner's Commendation for Bravery and Service. The Prime Minister joined Mr Keaton's family and friends for the service. Image: News Corp Australia
