Authorities are investigating after someone reportedly pointed a handgun at three students at Sagamore Hill Elementary School, according to Fort Worth police.
A Fort Worth ISD elementary school was placed on lockdown Wednesday afternoon after someone drove by the school and pointed a gun at students, police said.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m., officers were called to Sagamore Hill Elementary School in the 700 block of South Hughes Avenue, where someone reportedly pointed a weapon at students, according to Fort Worth police. Officers met with three students at the school who told them that they were at the playground when they saw a dark-colored pickup truck with multiple occupants westbound on Hampshire Boulevard, police said.
The children told officers the pickup truck stopped and one of the occupants “pointed a handgun individually at each of the” three children before driving away the same direction on Hampshire Boulevard, according to police.Email Address
