Grim details of Gabby Petito’s murder have been revealed in eight pages of handwritten notes made by her fiancé Brian Laundrie following her death. 7NEWS

Police encountered the pair during their trip in Moab on August 12, after reports of domestic violence.Brian Laundrie was named as a person of interest in the homicide investigation of his fiance Gabby Petito.Bertolino said Laundrie flew home to Florida alone on August 17, and then returned to Utah six days later to “rejoin Gabby”.“I panicked, I was in shock, but from the moment I decided, took away her pain, I knew I couldn’t go on without her,” he wrote in the notebook.

Laundrie sent text messages from Petito’s phone to intentionally deceive people that she was still alive after he beat and murdered her, according to a statement released by the FBI.After her death, Laundrie says he couldn’t go on without her. Laundrie appeared to direct part of his note to law enforcement, writing: “Please pick up all of my things, Gabby hated people who litter.”
