His partner revealed all to police
A gambling addict had two fake passports and two fraudulent utility bills to create accounts on online gaming sites after he was banned.
Fofana ran from the house but was arrested a short time later. Officers searched the address and found passports in the names of Philip Berrington and John Pollock. Both carried the same photograph of a man who looked nothing like Fofana, Francis McEntee told the courtThey also discovered two council tax bills in the same names, but the addresses on the paperwork were not in the same council area as the bills were supposedly paid.
In order to pass security to set up new accounts he needed two forms of ID, and a man he knew from the bookies allowed him to use his photo to have bogus passports created. "The passport could not be used for unlawful entry to the UK as he is already legally allowed to be here, and the man in the photograph is white", Julie Taylor, defending, said.
