Yaza Games producer Ryszard Kieltyka talks us through how Inkulinati's achievements will be retroactive for those who played during Game Preview.
launches on January 31st — it will first appear in Game Pass with Xbox Game Preview, and developer Yaza Games expects achievements to be added at its full 1.0 release, explaining,"We want to make sure that your achievement hunting needs will be met to their fullest satisfaction!""So after careful consideration, we decided that while the game is in the Xbox Game Preview phase, there won’t be any achievements to collect," explains Yaza Games producer Ryszard Kieltyka.
Kieltyka adds that another reason behind this is that"we want to have a bit more time to test out which achievements will be fun to collect and unlock. We are planning on having achievements on Steam and GOG.com during the Game Preview time since it’s much easier there to tinker with achievements — we can make changes on the fly so to speak.
One important thing to note is that Inkulinati's achievements will apparently be retroactive."For all folks interested in getting that precious Gamerscore — you can safely start playing Inkulinati from the moment it comes out to Game Preview and your progress will eventually count towards collecting those achievements in the 1.0 version of the game," Kieltyka assures us.
Lastly, Kieltyka explains that the Yaza Games team would"very much welcome the community’s feedback towards the general structure of achievements and your ideas of what should be added. Would be nice to hear the TrueAchievement’s community thoughts on this VERY serious issue!"
