GameStop has reportedly canceled all in-store preorders of Resident Evil 4‘s collector’s edition.
One customer who reportedly contacted their local store was told that preorders from the collector’s edition have been canceled “across the board.”The Resident Evil 4 collector’s edition includes the game, a steel book, a statue of Leon Kennedy, an art book, a poster, and a digital soundtrack.
The Resident Evil 4 “Extra DLC pack,” is also included, which contains costumes for some of the main characters, in-game filters, exclusive weaponry, and other small bonuses. Exclusive to GameStop in the US, the edition was sold in the UK via retailer Game, where it sold out extremely quickly.
