A massive blaze at a suburban gym is being investigated by police for possible links with an emerging Middle Eastern gang war.
Fighters Xpress gym on Lonsdale Street in Dandenong was set alight shortly after 3:30am on Sunday when a car crashed through the front door.
Authorities were later informed of a vehicle blaze on Canberra Avenue in Dandenong which the police believe is linked. They are also investigating if the possible attack is linked to a series of arson incidents in recent weeks by Middle Eastern organised crime gangs and outlaw motorcycle groups.
