BREAKING: Four men convicted of murdering underworld figure Pasquale Barbaro have finally learnt their fate after being found guilty.
Abuzar Sultani and Siar Munshizada, along with fellow gang members Joshua Baines and Mirwais Danishyar, were sentenced in the NSW Supreme Court on Friday.
Former Rebels bike Sultani in 2019 pleaded guilty to the three murders while Munshizada was found guilty of the murders of Mr Barbaro, Mr Davey and Mr Yilmaz over successive trial in 2020 and 2021.Mr Barbaro was 35 years old when he was gunned down in November 2016 outside the Earlwood home of construction industry identity George Alex in Sydney’s inner west.Mr Davey, 30, died outside a Kingswood home in March 2016 when he was ambushed and shot several times.
Danishyar and Baines were both acquitted of any involvement in the murder of Mr Yilmaz, but found guilty of murdering Mr Barbaro.
